Who is Richard Norris?
Richard Norris is a British entrepreneur, real estate investor and the founder of Project 1%. He lives in Dubai.
The short version
I grew up on a council estate in Oxford, England. I've built businesses that did over $10 million in sales, bought real estate, and paid cash for a $1.2 million apartment in Dubai.
Now I run Project 1%, where I teach men the three things I know best: fitness, sales and real estate.
The record
- SalesOver $10 million in sales from the businesses I've built.
- Real estateA portfolio doing $250,000 a year in net cash flow by the time I was 25.
- FitnessBritish powerlifting champion in the under 23s. I squatted 245 kg and deadlifted 280 kg in competition, and came third in the world in Antwerp in 2013.
- InvestingOne of the first seed investors in Skool, in the first round, through my work with Sam Ovens. Skool now has over 30 million users.
- MentorsAround $600,000 of my own money spent learning from people who'd already done it, Tai Lopez and Cole Gordon's team among them.
The hard season
I had the money and I wasn't happy. I sat alone on the floor of the apartment the money bought, feeling more broken than I ever did when I was broke.
In 2025 and 2026 I dealt with chronic pain, shoulder surgery, burning mouth syndrome, back problems and months where my business wasn't the primary challenge in my life. I'm still on that road.
Faith
I'm a Christian man. God first, character before achievement, purpose over ego. I pray every day and I read scripture at night.
The values I hold myself to are integrity, honesty, loyalty and monogamy. I'm a traditional man, and I believe a man's first job is to provide and protect.
Why I started Project 1%
I don't buy the "work 15 hours a day, six days a week" gospel. I've lived it, and most of the men preaching it are selling you a cage.
Project 1% is the personal operating system I built instead. Health first, then sales so you always have income, then real estate so you keep it.
